Self-talk
I see the way we speak to ourselves as one of the most important ways we create the reality we experience. I come at that from two directions: encouragement for your day, and a deeper exploration of the language and patterns you live with.

Two ways I approach self-talk.

Inspiration
Sometimes you need a voice reminding you that you are worth the effort. That you can begin. That there is something in you worth making room for.
That is the spirit of my short motivational messages: a little encouragement to carry into your day, and something you can return to when you need to hear it again.
Look, you are worth the effort. You can begin before you feel completely ready. Give yourself one small step today.

Neurolinguistic programming is the other part of this exploration: language, mental imagery, and the patterns we return to. I am interested in what those ideas can teach us about the conversation we have with ourselves.
I take a technique, a book, or a teaching and look at it closely. What is being proposed? How might it show up in an ordinary day? What does the research actually tell us?
That is the approach I bring to NLP: practical exploration, thoughtful reading, and a clear account of the evidence behind a claim.
Try a practical guide, explore ten authors and their books, or look up a term and follow the research.

The Way You Speak to Yourself
The meaning we give a moment can be worth a closer look. I explore how an inner sentence can leave us with a judgment about ourselves—or somewhere to begin.

Give the conversation some room.
I bring self-talk into a larger conversation about attention and awareness: what we take in, what we notice, and how we make space to listen. These connected subjects offer two places to continue.
