This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit willypoppa.com, request a willy poppa resource or email experience, contact willy poppa, or interact with the willy poppa publication on Substack.
Information handled through this website
The main willy poppa website does not currently offer visitor accounts, comments, or purchases. When a resource or email signup form is active, the form may collect your email address, an optional first name, the date and time of signup, the source form, and a record of the consent notice presented at signup. Do not submit health diagnoses, trauma history, or other sensitive personal information through these forms.
Some signup forms are operated through WordPress and Gravity Forms. Monday Motivation and Friday Reflection uses a website form that submits your email address directly to Brevo. The submitted information is processed by Brevo to deliver the requested resource, operate the associated email experience, manage subscription preferences and suppression, measure delivery and link activity, and send occasional willy poppa emails within the scope described at signup. Gravity Forms signups use single opt-in as described on the form. Monday Motivation and Friday Reflection uses double opt-in: you must click the link in a confirmation email before joining its subscriber list and receiving its twice-weekly emails on Mondays and Fridays.
Like most websites, the hosting, security, and caching systems may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. This may include an IP address, browser or device information, the date and time of a request, the page requested, referring information, and security or diagnostic events. Gravity Forms is configured not to retain a submitter IP address with the signup entry.
Newsletter and Substack
The “Get the letters,” “Read on Substack,” and related links take you to the willy poppa publication on Substack. If you subscribe, follow, comment, like, send a message, or otherwise interact there, Substack and willy poppa may receive information associated with that interaction. Depending on what you choose to do, this may include your name or username, email address, subscription status, engagement information, and the content of messages or comments you submit.
That information is used to deliver and manage the publication, communicate with readers, respond to messages, moderate participation, understand publication engagement, and protect the service. Substack also processes information for its own platform purposes under Substack’s Privacy Policy.
You can unsubscribe from Substack publication emails using the unsubscribe link in an email or the controls provided by Substack. Brevo-managed emails have their own unsubscribe link and preferences; unsubscribing from one service may not automatically unsubscribe you from the other.
Cookies
The main website may use cookies or similar technology that is necessary for WordPress administration, security, caching, and basic operation. Administrative login cookies apply to authorized site administrators. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are intentionally added to the main website at this time.
Gravity Forms and Brevo may process technical data needed to submit a form, prevent abuse, deliver email, and measure delivery or link activity. Substack and any other website you choose to visit through an external link may use their own cookies and similar technologies under their own policies.
How information is used

Information may be processed by service providers that help operate the website and publication, including SiteGround for website hosting and security, Gravity Forms for website form functionality, Brevo for resource delivery and email automation, and Substack for publication hosting, subscriptions, email delivery, and reader interaction.
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, prevent fraud or abuse, protect rights or safety, or complete a transfer of the publication or its assets.
willy poppa does not sell or rent personal information and does not use personal information collected through the main website for targeted advertising.
Retention and security
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including operational, security, communication, consent-record, and legal needs. Signup entries retained in WordPress are deleted automatically seven days after submission. Brevo retains subscription records for the email experience. An unsubscribe stops marketing delivery; a suppression record may be retained to respect that choice. You may request deletion using the contact details below. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no website or online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights concerning personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

This website links to Substack and may link to other external websites. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own policies. A link does not mean willy poppa controls the external service’s handling of information.
Children’s privacy
The website and publication are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. willy poppa does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the main website.
